Ella Conlon

Ella walked into her first preschool classroom, as a volunteer, at the age of 16 and has never looked back. Everything in her professional life from that moment on revolved around guiding and educating young children. After a decade of work in many different early education settings, she is delighted to now split her time between teaching at the Neighborhood Play School and working for the Early Childhood Service Corps.

Ella believes that no child can ever have too many adults who care about them, and she is honored to work for a program that is dedicated to helping create meaningful intergenerational relationships with older adults and children. She says, "it is truly a gift to watch the indescribable impact that intergenerational interactions have in enriching the lives of both the children and the older adults".
