Your support not only helps us fund our program, it helps us offer no-cost training in the early childhood field to older adults who are dedicated to giving back in their own communities. Your gift helps us:
Provide quality support to early childhood centers struggling to find qualified staff
Provide comprehensive, no-cost training from ECE experts and professionals to adults over 50 who wish to be ECE qualified
Spread the word about our innovative, intergenerational program that creates meaningful relationships across generations in communities
Funds our team and staff responsible for bringing this impactful program to your communities
COLORADO CHILD CARE CONTRIBUTION CREDIT
Your donation to Denver’s Early Childhood Council is eligible for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit. Taxpayers that make a qualifying monetary contribution to promote child care in Colorado may claim an income tax credit of 50% of the total qualifying contribution.
FOR EXAMPLE - if you donate $250, you can reduce your state taxes by $125. This is in addition to the usual tax benefits for donating.
To sum it up:
You donate to a child care organization.
You get the 50% tax credit on your Colorado state taxes.
You may also be able to deduct the full donation from your federal taxable income, which can save you even more.
