Hello! I’m Mikayla Apodaca, the new Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator for the Early Childhood Service Corps (ECSC).

I graduated from Santa Clara University in 2023 with degrees in Psychology and Political Science. After graduation, I moved to Madrid, Spain, where I taught English to children ages 3 to 10. Working with young children has always been a passion of mine, and I'm excited to bring that enthusiasm to ECSC's mission of fostering intergenerational connections.

Born and raised in Denver, I'm thrilled to return home and contribute to this meaningful work. Some of my most treasured relationships have been intergenerational, and I’m eager to help create those same impactful connections between older adults and young children across Colorado.

A little more about me: I love to travel, bake, and lately, I’ve been diving into classic literature!
