NOW RECRUITING: Seeking passionate older adults for 6th Cohort
Recruitment Alert: Sign Up Opens March 5th!
The Early Childhood Service Corps is gearing up to tackle two critical challenges facing Colorado.
Firstly, there's a pressing shortage of early childhood educators and a broader workforce deficit in the state. Secondly, there's a growing population of older Coloradans seeking meaningful engagement and purposeful endeavors. The service corps offers a unique opportunity to address both issues simultaneously.
Join us for the ECSC nonprofit’s Early Childhood Training Courses and become qualified to volunteer and support in Early Childhood (EC) classrooms by joining the upcoming Early Childhood Service Corps’ Cohort 6! Information sessions are available starting March 5th, (Tuesdays at 10am) with sessions scheduled throughout the recruitment period.
Individuals aged 50 and above, contemplating a career transition or eager to acquire new skills, are encouraged to sign up and receive detailed information on how to contribute to early childhood classrooms through our nonprofit. The training also serves as a pathway to become early teacher-qualified, opening avenues for additional income in the field.
In instances where early childhood educators require sick leave, personal time off, or wish to attend educational opportunities during work hours, finding suitable replacements can be challenging.
Experienced and trained volunteers from the Early Childhood Service Corps have the potential to offer invaluable support to these educators during their absences, ensuring continuity in classroom activities and learning.
To embark on this fulfilling journey of supporting early childhood educators, make sure to attend an information session online before the November 10th deadline to secure your spot in the Early Childhood Service Corps’ fifth cohort. Visit our Info Session page to register now!
